I am an evolutionary ecologist. My main research objective is to understand how organisms adapt to natural environments, and particularly to rapid changes in these environments<\/strong>. I am interested in between-individual variation of life-history, morphological, and behavioural traits in natural populations.  I study the ecological and evolutionary mechanisms underlying variation in these characters, with a special focus on the role of environmental degradation of anthropogenic origin such as climate change and urbanisation. I conduct analyses based on long-term datasets collected in wild bird populations, presently mainly blue tits (Cyanistes caeruleus<\/em>) and great tits (Parus major<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am co-chair of the European Society for Evolutionary Biology Equal Opportunity committee and member of the organising committee of a Women in Science mentoring program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Mon expertise est en \u00e9cologie \u00e9volutive. Mes recherches visent \u00e0 comprendre comment les organismes s’adaptent dans les environnements naturels, et en particulier en r\u00e9ponse aux changements rapides de ces environnements<\/strong>. Je m\u2019int\u00e9resse \u00e0 la variation inter-individuelle de traits de morphologie, de comportement et de traits d\u2019histoire de vie, pr\u00e9sente dans les populations naturelles. Je cherche \u00e0 \u00e9lucider les m\u00e9canismes d\u2019\u00e9volution de ces caract\u00e8res, avec un int\u00e9r\u00eat particulier pour le r\u00f4le de l\u2019environnement et de sa d\u00e9gradation d’origine anthropique lors de l’urbanisation et\/ou le changement climatique.  Mes analyses reposent sur des jeux de donn\u00e9es \u00e0 long terme de populations d\u2019oiseaux, en particulier la m\u00e9sange bleue (Cyanistes caeruleus<\/em>) et la m\u00e9sange charbonni\u00e8re (Parus major<\/em>).\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n
